At My Desk – Poem – 11/27/23

I'm enjoying this again

and I'm grateful

I also feel the old habits stirring

but I suppose that’s the point

to remember how to loosen the grip

how to open the hand

to watch the indescribable 

arrive and depart 

without attachment
